Furthermore, the rise of cryptocurrencies and blockchain has inspired a vision amongst many free market protagonists of being able to conduct business, without the need for central banks and regulators. To them, this marketplace decentralisation is a good thing. For example, it can allow new and non-traditional entrants, including ordinary individuals, to become venture capitalists.
